Romantic guide to Koh Phi Phi and everything you should do there

Koh Phi Phi is renowned as one of Thailand’s top party islands with its pristine beaches, beach parties, and wild bars. Although it has a reputation for the party life, there is much more to Phi Phi that meets the eye especially for couples, and more things you can do than get drunk. Here are a few romantic activities to consider.

Boat tour - Phi Phi is an island which means it’s a prime spot for a boat tour and exploring the surroundings. There are many beautiful sights near Phi Phi such as Monkey Island and Maya Bay which you’re both able to see on the tour. You’ll also get the opportunity to snorkel and experience the clear blue waters the island offers.

Exploring the beaches - Phi Phi isn’t very big but it’s also not as small as some other Thai islands, however, the only mode of transport is by foot or boat. With that in mind, it makes for the perfect opportunity to walk around and explore the local beaches. Some have the complete party vibe whereas others are super relaxing and you can get a quiet moment of peace.

Party hard - Phi Phi is the party island to be on and if you and your other half love the party way of life, embrace it. Attend beach parties, go to local bars and make as many friends as possible as you go through all the different pubs.

Beach picnic - Phi Phi has some of the most beautiful beaches that you’ll find it a prime spot to have a small picnic and soak up the sun together.

Romantic Holiday Dates

The holidays aren’t just a time for large festive gatherings with family and friends, they’re a wonderful occasion to spend a bit more time with that special someone in your life. Though it may not always be easy to plan the perfect date night, here are three suggestions that make for a great holiday date!

Revisit your first date. What could be more romantic than revisiting the night where the magic began? Maybe it was at your local coffee shop where the two of you can share a brew at the counter again, or maybe a restaurant where you can book the same table and maybe even order the same meal. If your first date involved a movie that’s no longer in theatres, it’s the perfect occasion to end the evening with some snuggle time on the couch with the movie replaying for you at home.

Wander around. Many of us these days are fixated on going to specific places or doing specific things, but there’s much to be said for doing nothing in particular and letting the evening take you where it may. Perhaps a stroll through the neighborhood admiring holiday decorations or a walk through the park doing nothing more than just talking and appreciating each other’s company.

A games night! Be it at home, in a cafe, or at a themed bar, games are a great way to enjoy each other’s company when other options have been exhausted. What better way to let loose and unwind from holiday stress than by setting up some fun with your significant other?
